Manal Moussane
Former UN Representative
Manal is a former United Nations Youth Representative on Human Rights and Security. For the past two years, she spoke with young people across the Netherlands and gathered their input and vision on topics such as education, digitalization, and mental health. She has been sharing those ideas and solutions at the United Nations. It has been her mission to pave the way for intergenerational, meaningful participation (with a focus on youth) at all levels of decision-making. Together with her colleagues, she created the idea of a United Nations Generational Test (UNGT). The UNGT is a youth-led initiative created to gain insight into the effects of policies on current and future generations to create equitable, inclusive, and sustainable policies. She is also studying medicine and biomedical sciences at the University of Amsterdam.
