Terri is a policy officer at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, focusing on internationalisation of higher education. Before, she was the chair of the Intercity Student Organisation (ISO) representing over 800.000 students in Dutch higher education. As chair she was the face of the organisation, which meant she negotiated with the ministry, parliament and other stakeholders and regularly appeared in media to explain the students’ point of view. Furthermore, she has been a member of the SER youth platform and the Council of the future. Within these bodies she has advocated for, among other things, financial security among young people and sustainable economic growth.
