Liane has been the director of the Slow Food Youth Network (SFYN) Netherlands since 2019. As director, she works daily to give young people the right tools to change the food system sustainably. She also founded a youth platform in cooperation with Groenpact to increase the voice of young people in the green domain, co-founded the social enterprises Locals and De Seizoenarbeiders and initiated several campaigns such as National Potato Day. The themes of food, equality and sustainability are central to all her activities. She currently works as a consultant at TEN HAVE Change Management, and she’s a member of the Supervisory Board of Stichting De Noordzee.
