Shadi is a council member for the greens in a G5 municipality. She is the spokesperson on topics including poverty, social policies, education, D&I and safety. She has put a great effort and been successful in introducing new policy measurements within the past year. Her effort hasn’t gone unnoticed as she was recently elected best upcoming talent council member of Almere. In her work emphasizes the importance of a feminist intersectional approach. Combining her 4-year experience as campaign strategist of GroenLinks Almere and her enterprising attitude, she has organized the first ever womans march in her city and has later initiated a largely well recived catcalling campaign.
