Yu-Sha works as Expert Lead Sustainable Finance at the central sustainability department of ABN AMRO. Next to that, she is a PhD candidate at Leiden University. Her research is about political agenda setting processes related to issues within the financial sector. Her daily work focuses on topics such as sustainable finance regulations, sustainable strategy, long-term value creation and intergenerational justice. Moreover, she is part of the supervisory board of Raad van Partners MVO NL. After her studies, she chose to start her career in the corporate sector to better understand the system and to change it from within. Her ultimate goal is to secure a liveable world in 2100 and beyond. In 2020 she represented ABN AMRO as a national nominee for the ‘Young Talent Award’ by the ‘Top Woman of the Year’ foundation. In her spare time she is committed to promote equal opportunities for children in the Netherlands (through voluntary work), coaches young professionals and is a member of various sustainability related committees.
